Among the technologies now in use for dealing with these challenges are the injection of ozone, air, oxygen and other gases into water streams for disinfection, oxidation and gas stripping. The Mazzei GDT™ process has proven to be extremely efficient in dynamically transferring gases to pressurized solution while removing unwanted entrained or dissolved gases. In addition to its technological benefits, the GDT process features a small footprint, low costs for capital, installation and operation, easy installation, non-fouling pressurized operation, and the ability to contain and treat off gas.

For more than 30 years Mazzei has been providing cost-effective, wastewater solutions for both the municipal and industrial markets. Today Mazzei uses computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling to mitigate dead zones and short-circuiting and assure optimal mixing and mass transfer in a system. From odor control for tanks, basins and lagoons, to reducing high biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) levels and increasing dissolved oxygen in even the most complex system, Mazzei gets results.

The Mazzei venturi wastewater aeration system is a more efficient version of jet aeration as it does not use an air blower/compressor to add ambient air (O2) to the wastewater.
